FAQ — Craft, Fit & Care

Craft & Materials

Q: What sets your products apart from other leather goods?

Every item is handcrafted one at a time by skilled artisans. No assembly lines. No bulk production. The focus is slow craft, natural materials, and timeless silhouettes designed to age beautifully.

Q: What materials do you use?

We work exclusively with full-grain leather, vegetable-tanned hides, natural linings, and restored vintage kilim textiles for our one-of-one bags. Each hide and rug has its own character, making every piece unique.

Q: Who makes your products?

Production happens in small, family-run studios in León (Mexico), Ubrique (Spain), and Lahore (Pakistan). Each workshop is selected for its specialty — from hand-stitching to bag construction — so your piece is always made by experts in that specific craft.

Q: Are your pieces truly unique?

Yes. Natural leather variation and vintage rug patterns mean no two items are ever identical. Your piece will always have its own distinct texture, tone, and personality.

Fit, Shape & Feel

Q: How do your shoes and boots feel on foot?

Expect a structured, supportive feel at first. The leather softens and molds to your feet with each wear, developing a personal fit that gets more comfortable over time.

Q: Can you adjust sizing or fit?

Absolutely. We can modify details like calf circumference, instep height, ankle opening, or strap length. Leave your request at checkout and our team will confirm before crafting.

Q: I’m unsure about my size — what should I do?

Send us your foot measurements or a tracing. We size customers manually every day and can help you choose the most accurate fit.

The Made-For-You Process

Q: What happens after I order?

Once your order is placed, it goes through a design review, and then crafting begins — pattern cutting, stitching, shaping, and finishing — typically completed within 7–10 days.

Q: Do you keep finished items in stock?

No. Everything is made after the order is placed. This ensures fresh materials, better craftsmanship, and zero warehouse storage.

Q: Do you offer customizations?

Yes — color changes, hardware options, leather upgrades, and structural adjustments are available for many styles. Some may extend production time slightly.

Durability & Everyday Use

Q: How long do your products last?

Full-grain leather is incredibly durable. With simple care, regular conditioning, and occasional repairs, our bags and footwear can last years — even decades.

Q: Do the kilim textiles require special care?

Not much. Keep them dry, avoid prolonged sun exposure to protect color, and brush gently with a soft cloth if needed.

Shipping & Delivery

Q: Where do orders ship from?

Direct from the workshop that crafted the item — Mexico, Spain, or Pakistan. This helps reduce costs and speeds up delivery.

Q: How long does delivery take?

Most pieces ship within 7–10 days of ordering. You’ll receive tracking information as soon as your item leaves the workshop.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

Yes, worldwide shipping is available at checkout.

Adjustments, Returns & Guarantee

Q: What if my item doesn’t fit correctly?

We offer complimentary adjustments. Because everything is handmade, we can alter your piece to improve fit and comfort.

Q: What is your return policy?

Unused items may be returned within 30 days. Since each item is made for you, we can’t restock worn or customized products — but we’ll always help find a fair solution.

Q: Do you offer a craftsmanship guarantee?

Yes — every item includes a 1-year guarantee on stitching, hardware, and construction.

Care & Maintenance

Q: How should I care for the leather?

Use a gentle conditioner every few months, keep it dry, and store it in a cool, shaded place. Full-grain leather is low maintenance and builds a rich patina with use.

Q: Can my piece be repaired or refreshed?

Definitely. Leather can be re-stitched, re-edged, conditioned, or re-soled, depending on the item. We encourage long-term care to extend the life of your piece.
